Windows File Server Integration
Gladinet Cloud file server agent integrates with Windows file server with a drive
letter. Inside the drive letter, you can see the SoftLayer IBM SoftLayer OpenStack Swift files
and folders.
You can take file server local folders and synchronize them with SoftLayer OpenStack
Swift. You can also take SoftLayer IBM SoftLayer OpenStack Swift folders and publish them as network
shares on the Microsoft Network/Local Area Network.
How to Set it Up?
You can sign up for a Gladinet Cloud Team account. During the sign up process, select
the "Plugin My Own Cloud Storage" option and plugin your SoftLayer IBM SoftLayer OpenStack Swift
account. After the sign up process is completed, you will be at the Web Browser
Based File Manager, looking directly into your SoftLayer IBM SoftLayer OpenStack Swift files and
folders. At the top of the web browser window, you can download the Windows file
server agent.
